MWE Rules & Regulations
1. MWE is an original wrestlers only efed that utilizes a mixture of promo and character development style roleplays. Anybody caught using real wrestlers, or carbon copies, will be removed from MWE competition. Usage of characters, roleplays, and other property that you are not allowed to use will result in immediate IP Ban from MWE.
2. While mild usage of profanity is allowed in character, we at MWE would appreciate it if the members of the forums would keep all foul play away from the forums and shoutbox area.
3. Advertising in MWE is allowed for efeds that have an affiliation with UWF, and is only allowed in the designated area. Advertising outside of the area, or without being a UWF member, will result in deletion of advertisement.
4. MWE is an old school low end independent company. Therefore, usage of high end gimmick matches, special effects, and other gimmick items within the MWE is not going to happen. Pyrotechniques for wrestler entrances are also not allowed.
5. Unless proper permission is given, do not use anybody else's character. You may use interviewing journalists provided by MWE and UWL, as well as their other designated staff members. However, harming of these characters will result in being disqualified.
6. MWE shows are all given a 3 roleplay max limit, with the winner with the highest overall credited points. Points are accumulated in four categories of 5pt limits giving a roleplayer a 20pt overall possibility. The categories are; Character Development, Relevancy [Match wise and potential continuous Program Building], Creativity, and Timing of RP posted.
7. MWE runs one show, Throwback, which runs every Saturday Night at 11pm Central USA time. Roleplays are to be submitted by Friday Night at 10pm Central. This allows time for MWE staff to judge and write the matches for Throwback. New Throwback cards will be posted every Saturday at 5pm Central, giving the roleplayers plenty of time to get Roleplays in. Changed on June 20, 2014
8. iPay Per Views and Supershows are hosted once a month. iPPVs are considered "Big Deal" events and take place on Sundays at 9pm Central USA. Supershows will take the place of an existing Throwback, with more high profile matches [ex: Championship Matches].
9. Roleplay deadline for iPPVs are Saturdays at 4pm Central. Again, this gives staff time to judge and write the matches accordingly. Cards for the iPPV will be posted at the beginning of the 2 month cycle, with matches being added as they are announced. All iPPV matches are announced with at least 3 weeks of prior notice. Changed on June 20, 2014
10. MWE has 4 unique championships, as well as, ocassional rights to defend the UWL World Heavyweight and other qualifying championships on MWE broadcasts. Exclusive MWE Championships are UWL Missouri Heavyweight Championship, UWL Missouri Heritage Championship, UWL Missouri Tag Team Championship, and UWL Missouri Ladies Championship [Women's].
11. Women in MWE are not allowed to challenge for male championships. We like to keep a bit of realism here, and most states with an athletic commission [IE: Missouri] do not allow cross-gender matches. This is why WWE doesn't do them anymore.
12. Please to do not beg for a championship opportunity. Each division is giving a rotating cycle of 5 qualifying contenders who may challenge at any time during said cycle. Each cycle begins the Throwback after a PPV and goes until the upcoming PPV has finished.
13. Contenders that qualify are give 3 strikes to try and successfully obtain the dedicated championship. Failure to capture the title will result in loss of contendership, and you will be sent to the very bottom of the Roster in terms of contendership... not so much position on the card. Enhancement Talent does not qualify.
14. MWE is a member of the United Wrestling League interfed system. Because of this, UWL and its partners will be advertised sporatically overtime, and some crossing storylines may air on MWE television. Also, members of MWE are allowed [and encouraged] to represent the MWE at any UWL event that allows us to do so. Representing MWE is entirely up to you, and nobody is forcing you to do anything... unless of course you hold as UWL championship. In which case, you're a signed UWL Wrestler as well and have made agreements to do so otherwise.
Thank you for finding interest in MWE, we hope that you enjoy your stay here and can come to agree to the terms above. If you can't, you will be removed from the efed. Continuing to break forum rules will result in being banned from the MWE forums and shoutbox entirely. MWE holds the right to add, remove, or modify these rules as needed without prior notice; though we will try out best to notify everyone. Failure to maintain constant notice of the rules in place is not on the sole responsibility of MWE. We at MWE hope that you do stay with us and find the time you spend here to be as much of a satisfaction as it is for us to have you here.
