In addition to standard singles and tag matches, Missouri Wrestling Experience does offer a few gimmick matches that sporadically take place over time. These matches aren't just thrown out there for the sake of it. If we're going to have them, then we're going to build for them. So, below are a list of matches we at MWE find to be ours, and worth paying attention to.
King of the Hill Final Round Match
-In its simplest form, the final round of the King of the Hill tournament is a 2-out-3 falls match that also just happens to have a 45 Minute time limit. However, because the stakes are so high and so important, the ring will be surrounded by all available officiating and security staff so that no outside interference, no illegal use of weapons, and above all else; a clear winner can be crowned. Also, the winner of the match will be inaugurated by the UWL Chairman himself, Kevin Hill!
Adapt or Perish 5-on-5 Match
-Usually seen building up for months, this match sees two teams of five with a pre-determined captain for each team. The captains will select their teammates, and during the match it's basically an elimination style tag match. However, once the opposing team's members are all eliminated; the match becomes an elimination single's match for the winning team. The final contestant left standing will be declared the winner, and receive ONE title shot to be cashed in at any time within the next 4 months.
Bunkhouse Championship Brawl
-The Key match of Bunkhouse Brawl, this match sees the UWL Missouri Heavyweight Championship on the line in a 20 Man Gauntlet Style Battle Royal [similar to WWE's Royal Rumble]. The only way to win is by throwing all of your opponents over the top rope, and being the last competitor in the match. The match contestants, except for the champion, will be determined by either a series of qualifying matches or having the record to provide them an entry. This is basically the chance for some of the dark horses to make names for themselves, and even become CHAMPION.
